‘I paint as I flow.’ – YUKA F.

Painting begins with the body’s unique rhythm.

My art channels the silent landscape of my intangible inner experience into curated, touchable art collectibles. This practice oscillates between the vivid and the void, from naturalism and realistic abstractions to pure gestural Zen art.

My paintings begin with the body’s unique rhythm. A person can have a million thoughts but only one body; how each pair of hands moves and manipulates the paints or the brush is unique in every individual. These physical materials and actual motions are essential in my art-making, unreservedly conveying an indescribable aura—an energy that approaches beyond words and sights.

Sometimes, I sit and observe objects, 'freezing' their temporary moment into eternity onto the picture plane. At times, with eyes half-closed, I draw beyond the subjects’ visible presence to capture their essence. At other times, I engage the whole body to reveal my inner state as my hands flow over the grand canvas. Unbounded by contour, shapes, and space, each gestural piece presents a symphony of palette, pattern, and texture harmoniously composed by bare hands, echoing hidden scores and lingering emotions.

This bodily engagement is central to my process. Whether through the controlled and faithful depictions of natural forms or the instinctive release of spontaneous action, my work consistently translates ephemeral energy into lasting forms for discerning interiors.
